AAT is partnering with local nonprofit Stand Against Trafficking for the annual Walk for Freedom. This special event is observed in hundreds of cities across the globe each year. The event is FREE and registration is not required; simply show up ready to learn and complete a short walk around Jordan Valley Park.

Gallery for Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Westminster Presbyterian Church will be hearing from the founder of Artists Against Trafficking, Madi Harrison, on October 23rd as they will be displaying a pop-up gallery at Westminster. Each piece in the gallery was created or inspired by survivors of human trafficking. Displays will be paired alongside resources from local nonprofits who also join in the fight against human trafficking. This gallery will be open to the public October 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th.

MIDxMIDWST Art + Music + Culture Festival

We will have a booth at this festival with a large interactive art piece designed by Kasey Blizzard. We hope to raise awareness to human trafficking in our community and instill a feeling of hope and empowerment through this interactive piece. We will also be partnering with several local non-profits to share tangible resources for those wanting to learn more from organizations on the ground, doing the hands-on work to assist survivors of human trafficking. Along with this information and interactive piece, we will be handing out a limited number of zines previewing our newest project: Unfiltered.

AAT Gallery - Honoring Survivors

This gallery will have art from our past events on the main level along with beverages, a raffle, and information about local nonprofits NightLight, Oasis Refuge, and Stand Against Trafficking.

We’ll display pieces on the second level created by survivors of sex trafficking. We are honored to be able to collaborate with these artists and share their personal stories with you.

This gallery will be unique from our others; you won’t want to miss it!

The art will be displayed at The Potter’s House all day Friday and Saturday. Customers and students are welcome to still order coffee and study. The art will be throughout the coffee shop and information about the nonprofits NightLight and Oasis will be at the entryway.
