Artists Against Trafficking started as an idea, which became a vision, then a plan which took on a life of its own in August of 2020.

Our Mission

Our goal for this project is to bring creative minds together to aid in the fight against human trafficking. Oftentimes, the conversation about human trafficking leaves us feeling helpless and holds us back from taking action.

That really shouldn’t be the case.

Our mission is to provide you with the tools and resources you’ll need to get involved with local organizations that seek to bring an end to the human trafficking industry all while highlighting survivor stories. I am a firm believer that art can speak louder than words. A statistic about annual reports of human trafficking incidents is just a number until you see 11,500 fingerprints sharing a frame. That’s why we’ve chosen to communicate through our art.

Together, we can create something beautiful and end something terrible.

What Survivors Are Saying

“Thank you for Artists Against Trafficking. You have been a tremendous catalyst for what seems to be happening in my life right now and it’s all going to show itself. I can feel the momentum shift after coming back from Missouri and I attribute that to the honoring of my journey and my story…I want to say thank you for giving me courage, for providing a platform for me, and for just opening a momentum of energy in me. Something is shifting. I am going to find my place and find my space and it’s going to be beautiful.”

— Ellen

“I want to express how grateful I am for you to put a spotlight on our stories. Thank you for lighting that fire inside me that I once let burn out. You are truly a blessing.”
